Manickavasagam Educational Trust was founded by the founder trustee Smt. S.M. Eswaram, Wife of (Late) Sri. Manickavasagam, Madurai, in the year 2005, in remembrance of her late husband, to do educational & charity works to the needy in the rural parts of Poigai and nearby 73 Villages around Vellore. Since then, the vision and mission of the trust is carry forwarded with conscious efforts and generous contributions done by the trust members. The trust has got various academic achievers and successful administrators of various industry as its executing members from various walks of life contributing their part in the realisation of the vision and mission of the trust selflessly.

            The general perspective of the trust with respect to school education over the years of observation is that, in the society as it exists now, the children are being treated like containers to be filled with mere knowledge and data only. No much importance has been emphasized on the understanding and innovating part of the knowledge. Monotonous rote learning and foundations of education are imparted without embracing holistic perspective of values in the schooling. Hence, a vision was proposed to break this pattern of teaching and create a silent revolution with concept based teaching in school.

            The trust also envisioned the need for an education system which not only includes academics but also encompass the basic understanding of entire human life. It has also pivoted the mission to build a place of learning where kids are free to realize their own potential and make their own goals for future. The school shall promote inclusiveness, appreciate diversity and cherish existence values. The desirous students shall be supported with educational resources and competitive skill coaching without any psychological stress during their schooling.

Dear students and families,
            Welcome you all to another year of learning. We appreciate your continued help and support to the success of our school community. I like to stress the importance of sincere, honest and dedicated hardwork put forth by our school staff, teaching and non-teaching, every year. Our staff work continuously to provide a safe, caring, and supportive environment for all students. We recognize that learning is a lifelong process, and we try to help our students assimilate this philosophy and acquire the skills they need to live in this world with confidence.

            Every new academic year may be different from previous ones with new emerging challenges, but I hope that we all will team up together to make it a successful one. We always remain committed to providing a safe learning environment and we promise the best educational experience for teachers, students, and parents.             We believe that, 'You' are the educators of children primarily; but as the child starts schooling, we - the teachers too share the responsibility together.

            Every Child has an innate ability to do Self Exploration. At FCS we are consciously kindled to remain committed to inculcate this act of self- exploration by themselves. We are committed to promote a feel-good mind in every child so that they in turn develop 'free to express', 'free to speak', 'free from fear of failure' attitude in our school campus.
